We had very good seats during the rehersals but when we came back for the show recording, we had bad seats and we did not
see Tina's face very often. The audience was perfect and they encourage Tina a lot. Each time, Tina stopped singing, she had an oustanding ovation
from the public. There were 450 people who assisted the show.

Tina performed 4 songs live :

* River deep, Mountain high.
* When the heartache is over.
* Whatever you need.
* Let's stay together.

Tina was wearing black clothes :  A kind of body, and trousers with fake fur around her ankles. Her wig was OK. The cold was over. The voice
was perfect. Tina was slim. Nothing else to say about Tina's performance : Tina was perfect!

There were 5 musicians : James Ralston, Ollie Marland, Jack Bruno, Warren Mac Rae. An other musician was there : he was white with long curly hair (black and white hair). I don't know who it was but it was not Timmy.
There were three dancers too.

The presenter (Naguy) always said : Welcome to "Mademoiselle" Tina Turner. (Mademoiselle in French = single woman !!!). He interviewed her about her new album, her tour. Tina answered she WILL BE IN PARIS IN THE STADE DE FRANCE on July, 5th 2000!!! They she spoke about her plans she had with Elton
and that they were cancelled. And that she decided to record a new album. Then, the presenter asked her it was strange that the album will be released first in Europe : "It is where I lived now : in France, in Zürich and it's a decision from the management."

Finally, the presenter said to the audience that Tina is THE boss of her musicians. He noticed this during the rehersals. Finally, the presenter stand up and kissed her. The presenter was high! There were three pauses between the songs. One because Tina was sweating. During the second pause, which lasted two minutes, Tina was on stage and somebody came to make her up. As all the audience was watching at her, Tina began to make some footsteps and the band was playing a kind of "Poop poop e doo". It was very funny. Then the band began to play and, as Tina is so professionnal, she saw a white towel near Warren Mac Rae which would be seen by the camera ; So Tina made a sign from the hand to Warren to remove it from the stage! During the third pause, Tina was inteviewed. Tina's performance lasted approximately 20 minutes. All the song with Tina were recorded at the beginning. The final with all the artists was recorded at the beginning of the show and Tina was there. French singer "Laam" kissed her. Tina seemed to be very happy during the final. After the final, Tina left the studio. Then it was the other artist's turn to perform their songs. The show ended at 2pm with a cocktail for the VIP guests we were! The VIP tickets enabled us only to assist to the rehersals.
I thought we would be able to see Tina backstage as I were said during the competition. WE DID NOT MEET TINA. :-(((

After the cocktail, we went back to the cloakroom. THE FLOWERS WERE STILL THERE WITH THE MESSAGES !!! They did not forward them to Tina.
Then we went back to the hotel and on sunday, I called Tina's hotel (the hotel she was supposed to stay, info from "Yahoo News"). I were said Tina is not there.
Then I insisted and said : " Is it necessary to take time to bring you the flowers or not". The lady finally said : "Try to bring us all the stuff!". So, we went to Tina's hotel to leave the fowers and the messages. At the reception, the man said to us that Tina left the hotel early this morning. But what was strange is that he agreed keeping the messages but not the flowers. So, maybye Tina will be back to the hotel on november, 2nd because she is interviewed during the French evening news.

I did my best to forward her the 18 pages of messages I had. I would like to thank all the people who sent me messages for Tina.
